Webb6 maj 2024 · So, I took to the internet and followed some of the solutions out there, including rebooting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling my USB ports from Device Manager, and running some windows fix up tools from the internet, but none this worked! A system suddenly loosing power is still causing partial writes. It might as well be like taking a baseball bat to someone's head. The OP was asking if damage could occur when it's powered off. I learned the hard way that a UPS is a must in my area to protect data.
